Is there some type of program where I can edit my digital photos before getting them printed? I want to do those neat things like make them black and white or sepia... or do a black and white but keep a certain color... like flowers in the photo or something. I also want to be able to zoom in on a certain part of a photo and just use that as the photo... can anyone point me in the right direction? Any programs or online programs I can use?
Edit my own digital prints... how can I do this?
Try www.picnik.com its a great editing site

FotoFusion
Easiest and best tool for hobbyists to make art out of photos, any style, lots of easy effects (sepia, b/w, general image adjustment, borders, novelty frames, etc.).
You'll be up and running in an hour or two -- it's too easy to use. It will let you make collages, email your pics, upload to a web gallery, scrapbook, make craft projects, whatever... Add text %26amp; effects ... You can print directly from it, or make a jpg to send to the photolab or make entire book pages and send them to one of the online book publishers like www.blurb.com.
Even has videos in the software to show you how to use it.
Pro photographers use it to make wedding albums worth thousands of dollars, but grannies use it to scrapbook too. It's really really cool.
Photoshop takes you 3.5 years to learn how to use at its most basic. It's a great tool but who has the time?
Reply:if you use walmart.com to do it, they'll let you edit the photo before sending it off to get printed. And you can do all those things!
Reply:Photoshop is wonderful!
Photoshop Elelments is great for beginners and is the cheapest version out there. Photoshop CS3 is better for the advanced and is much more expensive.
Most professionals use Photoshop.
