I am looking to replace a plant that was in one of our customer's yard. He said it looks similar to a pot plant when not in bloom but when it blooms it has a beautiful red flower. He said the name of it was Texas Rose but I can not find this online. Anyone know what kind of plant this really is and where I could find one?
Texas Rose... looks like a pot plant when not in bloom??
I have 2 in my yard - lovely, carefree plants.
Proper name: Hibiscus coccineus
Common names: Swamp Hibiscus, Scarlet Rose Mallow, Texas Star, Scarlet Hibiscus
