Can anyone tell me how to give presents in MySims Ds???

I have GameFly, so I do not get the basic instructions with my game. There are no walkthroughs that I have found online yet. Can anyone tell me how to give something to another person in game, like flowers. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I know it is probably simple, but without the game book, it is difficut. I have pressed every button while talking to the person and nothing happens. I go into my suitcase inventory and i click on an item and it lets me move it to another inventory slot or put it in the trash can at the bottom.

Okies if you have like a Bouquet of flowers, or any icon that look like a present, don't move it anywhere else.



Talk to any tourist and they you will see two options it will say Give Present and Conversation



Touch Give Present and then select any icon that looks like a present.

After that, touch the green checkmark on your bottom-right screen.
