Outdoor Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Wedding locations?

We are planning a destination wedding in Gatlinburg area. I've requested some info from several resources online... and we're going to go down before the wedding and check out some places. Is there any place you'd recommend checking out? We have 26 people, and I've been told by a couple of planners that the National Park will only allow 20 people, so I've ruled it out. We'd like to have it outdoors. We also just need a simple service, none of the extras like cake or flowers or anything.

My husband and I requested a permit to get married in the Park with around 35 guests and it got approved...three days before the ceremony. By that point we'd assumed the answer was no and found another location, but we DID get a yes. I'd contact the park rangers directly if you're seriously interested and see about getting a permit for a large gathering.

We ended up booking rooms for our guests at a local B%26amp;B, the Buckhorn Inn. They have lovely grounds with several nice spots, and we ended up having the ceremony in a little field overlooking Webb Mountain, with a small casual reception inside the Inn afterwards. That may be a bit more complicated than you're looking for, but it is a beautiful place and we were so impressed with the Inn that we're gone back every year for our anniversary.
Reply:I got married at Chapel at the Park. It is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. They do outside services. They are very inexpensive. We only spent like 700 dollars (including the tip) for our chapel wedding... including flowers, photos, videos... etc. If we had it to do over again, I would re-book there in a heart beat! They have packages you can choose from... one of which was a creek side wedding for like $200.
Reply:Gatlinburg is beautiful-my Dad and stepmom married there 5 years ago.

Here is the website of the minister they used-he only charges $75, and for a little will even supply a photographer.
