I have this coin that i cannot find anything about ,no one seems to know what kind of coin it is?
It's probably a token of some kind.
Take some pictures and put it up for sale on eBay with a ridiculous reserve price like $10,000.
That way you can watch people bid it up to it's present worth, and, if you do get $10,000 for it... cool !
Reply:It is some kind of token or medal. It is very hard to visualize something when only a description is available. I have never seen a token with a value of $1000. If as you say, it is at least 20 years old, that was a lot of money 20 years ago, even more as you go back into time. Most tokens were for 5 cents maybe 10 cents, most for less. A high quality scan or photo would help more. We need to find out what it is, before anyone can come up with it's value. If interested email me and I will send you an email address to send the photo's or scans and I will look into it further.
Reply:Not sure, might be a token to a past local shop. I had something similar happen to me with a one cent coin. I took it to a local bank the day they had a coin expert in. He explained that the coin was a token, from the local town.
