This Bar was passed down to me years ago but I can't find any info on it, I am trying to decide to refinish it or recycle it. It is freestanding about 3 1/2 feet tall and 5 1/2 feet long has two swing out doors on each end, 3 drawers center on the bottom half and then the upper half is pull down front door that when opened triggers interior lights, the backside of the center when pulled down looks like mirror with teal stripes, the light is curved and it has two staggered scalloped wood shelf's for ice bucket Etc. The wood work on the drawers is dovetail and the cabinet door handles are maple, the rest of the drawers and pull out have round metal knobs that look like button flowers (drawers) and open flower (pulldown). Any Info would be great or links to online free antique quotes. Thanks a Million.

Going only by your description, I have seen them sell in antique stores for $200-500 (depending on condition, where you live, etc). Your best bet, if you want to sell it, would be to take pictures to your local antique mall, and see if there are any dealers there that would be interested. They will, however, offer you much less (as they will want to make a profit). You can also call your local auction houses that specialize in antiques, and see if they have an in-house appraiser. Another idea is to call your home owner's insurance agent, and have an appraisal done for insurance purposes. There are on-line appraisers, but I've never used them. Just google "online antique appraisers".
Reply:That's not antique. That's barely vintage. You're better off looking for "mid-century modern" pricers.
