A few questions.. keys to make cute symbols?

Wondering how to make cute little pics/symbols with key combinations ~



I know you can make these symbols w/ Alt + 1-9 ????????○ and these appear by default. I do not have any shortcuts set up for these Alt+ 1-9.



I know there are other ones that appear by default like flowers, suns, moons, stars, arrows, other faces %26amp; many others.



When I use Alt + 1-9, where is the symbol coming from? Is there a chart somewhere that shows every single cute little picture you can make with key combos?



If I were to set up short cut keys in MS Word for Wingdings, would those pics work out of MS Word?



I searched online but only found symbols that actually mean something.. don't want those ~ just want cute little pictures.?



Can you please list any that you know of and any sites or places on my computer where I can find this specific info? Also, let me know if the MS Wingdings shortcuts would work and where Alt+ 1-9 pics come from.

start -%26gt; programs -%26gt; accessories -%26gt; system tools -%26gt; character map



it will say in the bottom right the alt code if one exists. alternately you can just double click on the character, and then copy it from the box below
Reply:Click the START BUTTON, point to RUN and click it.



Type charmap



(This loads the character map program)
