I bought a plate online and it is a Edwin M Knowles plate from March 1933. The plate itself is about 5 inches and the center is painted with flowers and there is a gold rim...any ideas of the value of this plate....
Antique Plate?
Hi! Is it any of these? If it's not.. I would keep checking ebay periodically or Replacements.com. Also, it would have to be 100 years old to be considered antique, I would refer to it as vintage and I'm afraid it's not something that Sotheby's or Christies would handle. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Reply:take a photo and send it to one of the large auction houses like Sotheby's or christies
or there is a website for the antiques roadshow (depends which country you are in)
good luck
Reply:Knowing the right value of your artefact is crucial and information I know isn't easily revealed. If you're looking to buy or sell antiques, this is the site I recommend: http://antiques.pinurl.com
It gives your first-hand information about a lot of things that others don't tell you.
