Car Seat Covers?

About 3 weeks ago we bought a Graco Comfort Support Convertible car seat for my 8 month old daughter. It is pink with little flowers and blue denim for the head %26amp; arm rest. Its really cute but I am looking for some extra girly covers incase this one gets dirty and I don't have time to wash. I have looked on ebay and searched online but I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Do any of you know where I can look? Thanks:)

Reply:Read your carseat manual - you will almost certainly find in there a warning to NOT USE anything with the seat that did not originally come with the seat.



Covers such as those you are looking for could pose a safety hazard - they have not been tested with the seat to know how much compression they allow (too much compression and you risk having your child ejected from the seat in a crash), they won't have the fire-retardant stuff put on it, and they could interfere with the harness system (straps) as well - which would mean your child isn't correctly held in her seat.



You can contact Graco and order a new cover directly from them that is for your seat specifically though.
